I am a casual player who peaked Gold 1 this year after playing mostly normals for years. Unfortunately I have hit a wall and demoted to Gold 3. I did this climb while also trying Bartin's 15 days climb challenge. At the end of the challenge, I asked Bartin to coach me.

First of all, I showed him one of my games. It was a close game, where in the late game, I made a mistake that cost my victory and made teammates tilt.

When Bartin coached me, he went into detail on how to improve, focusing mainly on my early game. Because I believed that my early game was ok, I didn't see the major mistakes that I was making. It turns out that most importantly, I was lacking jungle fundamentals, such as tempo and taking turns. He taught me how to get better and tempo, and what to do in case I lose tempo. He would also use simple terms to explain what I should do. For example, he told me "when [enemy jungler] does something, you do nothing.", with "do nothing" meaning just do your camps.

He was patient and was willing to answer all my questions.

When I explained my reasoning, he also understood my pov, and never dismissed it once.

Since Bartin is focused on clears, he could provide me a video of an optimized clear for my otp champion, which is really cool, especially for me who struggles with optimized clearing.

At the end of the session, Bartin sent me a video and notes about what I should improve on, which in my case, will help me get back to league after a hiatus. Plus he is open to answer questions after a session.

I definitely recommend him as a coach.
