Massive Update: Joining GDEsports, SoloQ Climbing, and What’s Next!
The off-season has officially ended, and I have some huge news to share with you all regarding my competitive career, the content grind, and what’s coming next.
Joining GDEsports
I’m incredibly hyped to announce that I've joined GDEsports, competing in the LPLoL (Portuguese Div 1), as a Positional Coach for the Jungle role!
This is my first time taking on this specific role with a competitive jungler rather than a SoloQ player, so it’s going to be a really exciting journey to see how much value I can bring to the team. The roster is absolutely stacked with very high elo Challenger players—some of who have been competing for a long time. Our eyes are locked on winning the LPLoL and making it to EMEA Masters. It’s an absolute honor to join this squad and help them achieve those goals.
The SoloQ Grind
During my break from streaming, I haven't been slacking. I’ve been grinding off-stream and managed to climb back up to my peak LP!
I’m currently sitting at 670LP, and I honestly feel like this push can go to 1k–1.5k LP without a problem, as long as I don't overforce it. Stepping back for a bit has really helped me—I feel like I've generally improved and become a much more confident and stronger jungler overall.
YouTube is BOOMING
I just want to say a massive THANK YOU. The support on YouTube lately has been absolutely insane.
Because of you guys, I’ve reached all the goals for monetization. You might start seeing ads on my videos from time to time now. I know they can be annoying, but please keep in mind that they are what allows me to keep doing this full-time. I’ve also been on an amazing grind, uploading a clear every single day for the past 50-ish days, and the consistency feels amazing.
Plans for the Future
Here is the roadmap for what to expect over the next few weeks:
Streaming: I miss chatting with you guys, and I will definitely be coming back to regular streams! However, past experiences have taught me not to overforce myself so I can prevent burnout and stay consistent. I probably won't stream properly until next month (maybe a short pop-in here and there), but starting in August, the regular schedule returns (likely 3 to 4 times a week). Until then, my focus is 100% on the team and creating more content.
The Website: The new hub is currently in development! Over at bart1n.com, we are putting together everything you need to climb. All the guides I've made for YouTube will be available in written form, and you'll be able to book coaching sessions that include VOD examples. We are also building out free tools for you to use, like a Champion Item Builder, a Tierlist Maker, and a LoL Journal.
Thank you all for the crazy support lately. Keep up the grind! ❤️
